War Stories is a great book about the lasting effects of war. The story follows Trevor, a boy in the 2020's, who is obsessed with WWII because his great-grandfather fought in it. It has the same effect that Korman puts in most of his books, where the chapter following the previous is in a completely different time or place (in this case some chapters WWII and some chapters Trevors adventure with his family), yet you can relate both types of chapters throughout the book, so that half the story is unwritten. Honestly, I love the fact that this book goes extremely deep and makes you think a lot. A great read for avid readers looking for deep, meaningful, yet still humourous books, I highly recommend War Stories. Now, Happy Reading!
